Evidence the observation or experience has been undertaken by the trainee.
Reflections on the observation or experience at two timepoints including contextualisation to the trainees own practice. E.g., for planned observations, a reflection before the observation and after, or for unplanned events a reflection one day after and another reflection a week later.
Considerations
- Appreciate the range of therapies prepared, including preparation methods and dose forms
- Consider the difference between therapeutic vs diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals
- Consider the elements of process including:
- Shielding requirements
- Patient indications for treatment and pre-treatments required
- Communication of restrictions and recommendations to a patient following administration of a radiopharmaceuticals
- Radiation protection protocols
- Dose and decay calculations
