Details

Take a patient history for  patients presenting with complex support needs from one of the following groups under supervision:

  • Complex social issues
  • Mental health diagnoses
  • Dementia
  • Learning disabilities
  • Language or communication difficulties

Considerations

  • Safeguarding issues e.g. signs of female genital mutilation or suggestions of domestic violence or abuse
  • The principles of dignity, privacy and confidentiality
  • Signposting patients to access additional support where required
