Considerations
Considerations are suggestions about what may be useful for the trainee to think about while undertaking a training activity. They should not be considered as a mandatory checklist. Trainees should not be expected to demonstrate or provide evidence for each of the considerations listed.
- Local, national and international guidelines and standards for ambulatory urodynamics, including use of terminology and acronyms
- Identification of artefacts, and how to adapt analysis accordingly
- Normal and abnormal ranges of results for male and female patients
- Local protocol for reporting UPP
- Calculation of parameters
- Reporting anomalies or deviations from protocol during the investigations
- Replication of symptoms during investigation, including appropriate provocation
- Disseminate results to relevant referring clinicians
- Authority level for provision of results
- Record keeping and documentation
