- The abnormalities of protein metabolism and appropriate investigation of the following conditions:
- hypo- and hyperalbuminaemia
- inflammatory disease
- raised immunoglobulins
- paraproteinaemia
- cryoglobulinaemia
- alpha-1 antitrypsin deficiency.
