- sexual health
- immunocompromised patients,
- including patients in the ICU
- pregnant women
- children and neonates.
Considerations
- Clinical risk management, infection prevention and control, and the advice given to patients in this setting. Including:
- use of isolation facilities (side room, negative and positive pressure rooms)
- the role of prophylaxis
- the role of screening
- hand hygiene.
