Identify granulosa cells, cumulus cells and oocytes during egg collection.
Considerations
- Basic knowledge of follicular physiology and oocyte maturation in vivo. Awareness of the egg retrieval procedure and factors that could impair oocyte quality during the procedure.
- Awareness of the correct timing and administration of chorionic gonadotrophin to complete oocyte maturation and the implications for treatment.
