Considerations
- Options available (e.g. risk management, genetic testing and reproductive options) including:
- Alternative options and the legitimacy of each
- The pros (benefits) and cons (risks) of the alternatives, taking account of patients’ concerns and personal circumstances
- The uncertainties associated with the available options
