Aim of this module

This module will introduce trainees to the principles and practices of managing medical devices, including the device lifecycle, management of quality and risk, and the multidisciplinary team supporting the use of medical devices.

  2. Critically appraise the principles of project and risk management related to medical devices.
  3. Demonstrate a critical awareness of the principles of decontamination and safety using medical devices.
  4. Critically evaluate the impact of research and development related to medical devices.
