• The rationale for, and public health benefit of, the UK vaccination schedule.
• The rationale, for and public health benefit of, seasonal vaccination or in at-risk groups.
• The rationale for the need to vaccinate when travelling to specific areas.
• The efficacy, immunogenicity, contraindications, safety, side effects and personal and wider benefit of vaccination against:
  • diphtheria, tetanus, pertussis, polio, Hib, pneumococcus, meningitis C, MMR, HPV.
• The efficacy, immunogenicity, contraindications, safety, side effects and personal and wider benefit of vaccination against:
• influenza, pneumococcus, hepatitis B, tuberculosis, VZV.
• The efficacy, immunogenicity, contraindications, safety, side effects and personal and wider benefit of vaccination when travelling the policy on vaccination in your locality.
• Vaccination requirements in your hospital(s).
